New To Bikram
What to Wear
Snug-fitting, stretchy lycra/cotton type tops and bottoms, leotards, bathing suits, or athletic shorts. Sweat pants and bulky shirts will be uncomfortable in the hot room.
Preparing for Class
Do not eat 2-3 hours before class. It is a good idea to be well-hydrated before class rather than trying to hydrate a lot in class. Bring a yoga mat and towel (available for rent if necessary).
What to Expect
This series effects the body and mind deeply. It quickly brings tensions and toxins to the surface to be released. At first this might show up as lightheadedness, dizziness or nausea.
